Richard thought for a moment, before saying “We need to call Bruce.”

Bruce and Katrina would suddenly recieve a phone call.
“Well, time for an investigation…”
Elias gasped in pain.

What would that do to him?
Bruce picked up the phone.
“Yes?”
Katrina sat in the living room, playing a board game with Sophia and Logan.
“That’s better…” Gamenark said.
“Now, allow me to discuss our plan…”
“Bruce, it’s Mark.” Mark’s voice urgently said on the phone.
“We need your help. Something dangerous is happening to this city.”
Elias nodded and bowed his head, listening.
“What do you mean? I haven’t had to put on the suit since, well… since Logan and Sophia were born.” Bruce replied, somewhat confused.
“Have you happened to see anyone that looks like you, except evil?” Mark asked.
“No, not yet… Mark, what’s going on? Just spit it out already.”
Mark inhaled deeply before he spoke.
“apparently, evil doppelgangers of myself, Sadie, Hydron and other heroes have been sighted throughout the city. Elias went bananas, and Sadie was kidnapped by an evil version of herself. Is that explaining things clearly enough?”
Bruce was silent for a moment.
“…yeah… that… works. What do you need me to do?”

“Let us stop by your place.” Mark said to Bruce. “I can explain better there. Besides, it’s been a while since I’ve seen Katrina and the kids.”

Soon, Mark, Richard and Hydron arrived at Bruce’s home, accompanied by Jack and Mary.
“It’s been a while, Bruce!” Rochard said as he approached, slapping Bruce’s back.
“Too long.” Bruce agreed. “How are you doing?”
Sophia and Logan watched Jack and Mary from behind Katrina.
“Good- you know, besides everything that happened today.”
Richard answered.
“I don’t believe we’ve been properly introduced.” Jack said as he approached Sophia and Logan.
“My name’s Jack.”
Logan looked up at the older child.
“My name’s Logan!” He announced. “I have a pair of green socks. They’re my favorite!”
“I see…” Mary slowly said, slightly weirded out.
Logan looked at Mary.
“Hi! Who are you?” He asked the older girl.
“Mary…” she said shyly.
“Cool!” Logan said excitedly.
“Mommy said some friends were coming over. Is that you?”
Sophia watched Mary intently. Maybe she would find a friend in this group of people.
