Mark grunted, dodging and stabbing at Elias again.
Elias, once again, blocked with one sword and stabbed with the other.
The shadow wall behind Mark erupted with long spikes, stabbing at Mark.
Mark rolled forwards, smashing his body through Elias’ shadow wall as he scrambled away.
The Shadow wall broke and Elias groaned in pain, collapsing to the ground. He clutched his head, the breaking of the wall doing mental damage.

Meanwhile, Caesar would encounter ‘Diero’ as everyone else fought their evil selves.

“Don’t just stand there and sulk, get back up and kill him!” Gamemark commanded to Elias.
‘Diero’ sees Caesar and gets up from fitting his piece into the machine.
“Come back for round two I see?”
He starts walking toward Caesar. A brief flash eminates from Caesar’s hands, and at the same time two small holes appeared in the floor next to his feet. ‘Diero’ scoffs and leaps forward, pinning Caesar to the wall with his stand.
“Did you really think I wouldn’t see that? Bring back what you just sent into the floor.”
Caesar struggles to get words out with the invisible hand around his neck.
“I-if you insist,”
Two bolts of yellow energy fly up out of the floor, striking ‘Diero’ In the face. His helmet shatters as he stumbles backward onto the floor, releasing Ceasar from his choke hold.

Mark whipped around and attempted to follow up the attack by swinging the flat part of his blade at ‘Diero’'s face.
Elias nodded and launched himself after Mark, sending a flurry of shadow spikes at his friend.
Mark blocked the spikes with the flat of his blade, rolling out of the way as he slashed at his leg.

“So what do you guys want to do now?” Jack asked Sophia and Logan.
Elias dodged and sent a wall of shadow at Mark, trying to crush him between two walls.
“I dunno. We can play a game!” Logan suggested. Sophie nodded enthusiastically.
“What game do you wanna play?” Mary asked.
Mark leapt out of the way just as the two walls collided.

“I’ve had enough of this.” Said Gamemark, as he pulled a lever nearby.
Suddenly, bolts of energy began pulsing all over the Slip Ring.
Within the ring, a vortex of ethereal energy started swirling around, quickly gaining momentum and strength.
“We’d all love to stay and chat, be we’ve got places to be. Toodles!” Gamemark said as he jumped into the portal, followed by Voidmaster, Shade and the rest of the Dark Heroes.
“We gotta go after them! Quickly, this way!” Mark said, running towards the portal as he motioned for the others to follow. He himself then jumped in.
‘Diero’ struggles to his feet, blood trickling out of his nose.
“I’m not going anywhere… until I kill you, Caesar!”
Caesar walks towards ‘Diero’, raising his hand to his counterpat’s face.
“Is that so?-”
A flash of yellow lightning later, and Diero’s nose is completely healed.
“-then I guess you’ll just have to follow me anyway.”
He continues on past ‘Diero’.
“Especially since I know how much that pissed you off.”
‘Diero’ is speechless.
“WHY THE HE-”
Caesar steps into the portal, turning back and waving to ‘Diero’
“Sorry, no more questions!”
And with that he goes though to the other side. Fuming and without any other options, ‘Diero’ follows Caesar through the portal.

Sophie ran inside and grabbed Monopoly.
“How about this?”
Connor, Bruce, and Katrina followed Mark.

Mary and Jack shrugged.
“Sure. Why not?” Said Jack as he sat down and began setting everything up.
Logan sat down and helped too.
“This doesn’t seem like a great idea…” he sighed and folowed Mark

After jumping through the portal, everyone would find themselves falling through a massive vortex.
Suddenly, Mark, Bruce, Katrina, Conner, Hydron and Caesar fell from the sky and landed on the ground. The Dark Heroes were nowhere to be found.
“Are you all okay?” Asked Mark as he stood up, brushing himself off.
Katrina helped Bruce up.
“No worse for the wear, it seems.” Replied the latter.
Connor looked around.
“Where are we?”
