Mark took a deep breath.
“Okay, this is what I know…”
He proceeded to tell Meg everything that had happened up until that point.
Meg thought for a moment, before suddenly drawing her sword on the group of strangers. “I still don’t believe you!”

Bruce frowned.
“Why would we lie?”
“You all tell me something that only I and my friends would know about ourselves. Only then will we believe that you are us.” Meg said to the group of heroes.

Connor thought for a second, then turned to his counterpart.
“You have a crush on someone… a guy whose name starts with an I?”
Bruce and Katrina turned towards their counterparts.
“You’re married and have two children.” They said in unison.
“Anyone?” Bruce raised an eyebrow.
“You’re married too, Meg. And your husband’s name starts with an S, doesn’t it? And let me guess… twi children? One boy, one girl?”
Meg was intrigued.
“…okay. But where have these ‘villains’ that you were chasing gone?”
Connor shrugged.
“We don’t know. That’s why we’re asking you.”
“Well I haven’t seen anything.”
Suddenly, from behind Meg there was a large dark form beginning to grow menacingly.
Bruce tapped his chest twice, forming his suit. Katrina did the same.
“Uhhh… behind you!” Connor pointed.

Meg turned around, and she found herself launched backwards by the overwhelming force of the shadow creature.
The Shadow Monster then started lumbering towards the others.
…
Meanwhile, Jack had a worried look on his face.
“I think…something’s wrong with our Moms and Dads. We haven’t heard anything from them in a while…” he said out loud worriedly.
Logan shrugged.
“Maybe they’re on vacation.” He said, unworriedly.
Bruce and Katrina opened fire on the creature.
Since the creature was made entirely of Shadow, their attacks didn’t seem to faze it. The Shadow monster shot Shadow spikes and Bruce and Katrina.
The two flew out of the way.
“Use lights!” Katrina suggested, shining a bright beam of light at it.
A hole would open in the creature where the light was shined. It hissed as it attempted to fully envelop everyone in darkness.
Bruce and Katrina shone more lights on it.
“Help us!” They yelled at all the heroes.
Mark and Meg were paralyzed in fear, unsure of what to do.
“Yeah, help them!” Mark said to Caesar and Hydron, to get them to do it for him.
Bruce scowled at Mark.
“You, too!”
Mark sighed.
“fine.” He said as he approached the Shadow wall.
“How are we supposed to get you out of here?” He asked Bruce and Katrina.

Bruce formed a high-power ■■■■■■■■■■■ and activated it.
