Over the course of most of the next day, they continued testing the rockets that were to be used to send Project: Meteor out, making sure they would work how they should.

Late at night, after a long search, Caesar and Carlie have found nothing.
“Dang it!”
Caesar punches a wall, involuntarily sending sparks skittering across it.

Llillaa worked hard looking over many of the calculations and positioning of the rockets.

The salesman disappeared

And with that Nexus flies into the skies and Bruce walks over towards Katrina.
“Well, I consider this a success.” he said.

Katrina grimaced.
“… maybe. We’ll see how it turns out.”

“Yeah, he’ll be back.” he said, he deactivate his suit. “Shall we head home?”

Katrina nodded. “Yeah, sure. Sounds good.” She deactivated her helmet and suit as well.

Bruce smiles and wraps his forearm around her and starts walking with her.
“So, we have him on the team, anyone we missed?”

“Um… I don’t know.”

“Boi haven’t we caught up in a spell huh?” he asked.

“No, not really.” Katrina replied, smiling a little bit.

“Well that’s a good portion of my life that I won’t get back. You sure you have a lead?”

“Okay, so we start first off with the leader…that is me and you.” he said. “And as of now, we got Spider-Man, Mark and pretty much his friends and Nexus on the tean, have you talked with Catherine about it?”

“I thought I did, but now I know that he couldn’t possibly have come this way, so no! I don’t have one!”

“What do you plan to do now then?”

“I don’t have a plan! So you can just go home!”

“No, not yet. I’ll text her later today.” Katrina replied.

“Fine by me.” Bruce said.
