“Well… Yeah.” Jacob coughs awkwardly, “Let’s get back to the anime, then.”
“Okay then”
“I’m sorry, just wanted to compliment you.” Jacob turned it back on.
“I know.”
“Well… yeah. So that’s a thing.”
Jacob then gently attempts to indicate the intention to put his arm around her, slowly going for it to give her time to respond and say no if she wants.
Deja closes her eyes and leans a title bit away into the edge of the sofa
Jacob retracts his arm.
“So you just want to snooze, that’s what this is?”

“That’s fair enough, I guess. Can I join?” Then mentally slapped himself for such a terrible phrase.
“Sure?”
“Sorry that was a weird question.”
“I guess it was.”
“This really isn’t going anywhere, is it? Oh well, you can sleep now.”
“Eh.” She puts a hand in by his leg “You deserve better.”
“Better how?” Jacob asked, making sure it was what he thought it meant.
“Getting out your shell.”
“Does that mean what I think it means?”
