Arcana: the downfall

“If you want to you can have it. This place doesn’t have room for pets.”

Frostvin shook his head. “No. Absolutely not. It tried to kill us!”

“we did attack first.”

“It only wanted food. We made the mistake of attacking it before thinking.”

Frostvin said nothing. He nodded his head. “Screw it, then. Keep all the Hydras ya want.” He threw his hands up in the air, and walked back to the cart.

“You watch this thing. I have something I need to do.”
Edward said to Oliver. He then followed Frostiven to the cart to check on Tortwig.

Quadro was standing by her, under a table. “Query: the threat is gone?”

“Yeah, it’s gone, and turns out it wasn’t much of a threat at all. How’s she holding up?”

“Assessment: she is stable, but wounded. Medical attention required.”

“I know her arm is messed up, but is there anything else wrong?”

“Additional: a head wound, from hard contact with a hard surface, as well as a leg wound.” Quadro pointed at each wound as he said them.

“I can fix her arm, but the rest I’m not sure about.”

Quadro gave a nervous twitch. “Query: The senior Etherite is not a healer? Data collection shows evidence of the ability to fix wounds. Data is incorrect?”

“I don’t know. Just bring her in and we can ask.”
He said, walking to the door.

Quadro lifted up Tortwig and followed Edward. Frostvin picked up Duo and followed.

Edward approached the old mage.
“Hey, what do you know about treating wounds?”

“a lot, why?”

Quadro laid Tortwig by Oliver.
