“Also, does the Red Star revive rahi?”
“I am going to say no, because the Makuta determine how many Rahi are needed and Rahi are specialized as species but usually not as individuals. Having too many Rahi of one type could end up being a problem, so having an automatic return program might not be the best idea.”

“And about the new rahi thing… how does that work? are rahi brought back too? or does the rs just duplicate existing species? when a makuta makes a new rahi species, do they only have to make one specimen, or do they have to make every single specimen in existence? if the rs was working, wouldn’t that basically mean that the order of MN couldn’t truly wipe out the visorak?”
“Yes, Rahi are brought back, and yes, Makuta would have to create every Rahi specimen since there is no biological reproduction. And you could wipe out the Visorak if you utterly destroyed them, because if there is no longer any consciousness, it can’t be downloaded into the new form. That is why Matoro could not come back – no body and no consciousness, everything had turned to energy.”

“1)
(We know that the Red Star scans the Matoran Universe for dead sapient species such as Matoran/Toa/Turaga, Skakdi, Vortixx, Steltians, etc., but does not scan for any Rahi because of a potential influx of one species.)
a) Are intelligent Rahi considered in this rule; so no Krahka, Keetongu, and Tahtorak?”
“1a) Correct. It has nothing to do with intelligence, it has to do with the fact that the Makuta make replacement Rahi as needed, so the RS is not required.”
So are Rahi revived or not?
We have seen Matoran having caught fish on Mata Nui, and Mazeka and the Melding Teridax found dead Visorak in Ba-Koro. These instances suggest their bodies are not teleported.
Edit:
Thanks to Maxim, here’s the answer:
Rahi are not revived.
