Arena Battle II (RP topic)

Scrapper moved to the side, allowing Mark to run past him, then formed his cannon and blasted Mark into a wall.

Mark’s body flew into the Arena wall, making an impression of himself on it as Scrapper’s blast hit him, scorching his back. Mark fell to the ground.

He weakly tied to rise back up, body trembling as his back smoked from the blast.

“Still alive?” Scrapper wondered. “That’s interesting.” He then approached Mark and revved up his non punctured wheel, before slamming it onto Mark’s back and driving it in.

Mark collapsed to the ground again. His fist tightened, clutching some sand in his bloody hand. Weakly, Mark attempted to rise one last time.

Scrapper whacked the back of Mark’s head.

Mark collapsed, falling to the sandy ground. He didn’t get back up this time.

Scrapper blasted him a few more times, just because he could.

The gong was struck. The Gamemaster somberly looked down at Mark’s battered, broken, barely-living body. He then looked back up at the other fighters and the audience. “It appears that Mark has been rendered incapacitated by Scrapper. Therefore, Scrapper wins by default.” he announced, looking back down at Mark.
“However, due to the injuries he has received in this fight, Mark is no longer in condition to compete. He shall now be sent home, where he can recover and rest.”

A few men came out and put Mark onto a stretcher, carrying him out through another corridor in the Arena.

The Gamemaster then turned back to the fighters. “As for the rest of you, may now head back to the barracks. But let this serve as a lesson, that only few are equipped for this kind of competition.” he said, before dismissing the warriors.

Nexus ignored the Game Master, instead going around and trying any unfamiliar door to test if it was locked or unlocked. There was probably something he could do outside of sit around all day.

Q’uiin decided to take this timeto meditate and relax his mind for the coming conflict, wondering when he would be called.

Leadhead was figiting just milling around with no real goal

The next day, it was time for the next match.

As the warriors stepped into the Arena, the crowd cheered. “Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the Fith Arena Battle!” The Gamemaster declared as the crowd
cheered. “I hope that, in wake of recent events, we can get things back on track with this match. So let’s begin, shall we?” he said as he pulled out an envelope. The Gamemaster opened the letter and read it.

“Today’s match is: Nexus vs. Q’uiin!” The Gamemaster declared.

“Fighters, get ready!”

The gong was then struck, signifying the start of the match. “Fight!”

Q’uiin brandished his hammer. “Okay, terran, let’s see what you’re made of. The first move is yours.”

“I appreciate the gesture.” Nexus replies before kicking off the ground and flying about 15 feet off the ground. From there he fires a mini cordak missile from his knee cannon.

Q’uiin leaps back about twenty feet and pulls Nexus towards him using telekinesis, readying a blow from his hammer once his foe is in range. Nexus also feels a probing in his mind.

Nexus would be pulled forward, completely surprised and unprepared for the telekinesis. Nexus manages to bang his forearms together before he got within swinging distance though, and although it did nothing to slow him down it would release a rather painful sonic shockwave. Upon trying to probe Nexus’ mind he find it quite impossible, a formidable and artificial shield encompassing his mind.

Siansa just watched as she always did, she was less excited than when she had started. She didn’t really pay much attention to anyone’s words.

The Gamemaster looked on, intrigued.

Q’uiin can’t tell what to expect from this monkey banging his arms together, but is taken aback by the result. He is pushed back by the rather unpleasant sound, but stands his ground. Q’uiin begins swinging his hammer and generates enough magnetic field to induce a surge of electricity, which he hurls at Nexus.

Nexus stays in the air, flying up slightly higher as the electricity on the hammer becomes visible. When the electricity hit, assuming it would still be attracted to Nexus while in the air, it wouldn’t do much with the armor itself acting as a sort of faraday cage and him not being grounded. Nexus would take the opportunity to return fire with several bursts of lasers with one arm while charging a more powerful blast in the other.
