Blender Render and Cycles Render Comparison

I’m thinking about switching to Blender Render from Cycles Render. Cycles creates realism but renders way too long and you have to turn up the samples to get rid of fireflies. Blender render is fast, but doesn’t have the realism of Cycles.
Which should I use for animation?

Gotta say, I much prefer the Cycles Render better because of how good it looks. Sure it might take longer, but IMO it would be worth it.

I’d personally go with the Cycles. Render wait time is the bane of all things good in this animated world. :stuck_out_tongue:

Depends on how much time you got on your hands.

Hmm…True. Cycles is very impressive in its details. Depends if the computer can handle the amount of memory cycles render.

True. For now, I’ll see what I can do with Blender Render and Cycles.

also computer capability as well :stuck_out_tongue:

Could I by any chance be able to have a copy of your model for personal use? Regards, Heartwork.

I also want to let you know that if I ever showcased the model I would leave people with your username and url to this model page so that you can be credited for your work.
