Blender Snow Animation Test

“If I had a penny every time Blender lagged on me, I’d have 25 pennies.”
Just a snow animation test I made in Blender. And no, Kopaka did not slip.
Snow was made using particles emitted from a plane and using an icosphere to act as the snow object. Hopefully I can make snow landscapes and mountains later on to create a snow environment.

Rendered in Blender Cycles Engine. Kopaka looks a bit TOO realistic…

Looks really cool. The snow is moving a bit slowly, though. If you want to get really technical, vary the speeds of the snow so that the snow ‘closer’ to the viewer is moving faster and the snow ‘farther’ from the viewer is moving slower. It’ll create a sense of depth.

Thanks! I’ll see what I can do. I think I’d have to change some things in the particles tab, specifically the velocity of the snow in blender.
Still got a lot of things to test out in blender.
