You know, this whole thing brings me back to the 2015 Slivers in Magic: The Gathering. Those things had a concept so different from the original, that it was maddening. However they were too similar to name them a different species, to the point that R&D had to name them Slivers. Either way, I think it will leave people disappointed. If they were not named sliver, then why are they a tribe that shares all their characteristics? If they are slivers, then why do they look like predators and about to fight an Xenomorph Alien?
Yeah, there was no win here. I feel it is the same for this, I am partly grateful my knowledge of G1 consists on online content reads supplemented by wiki page reads on the later stages. While my knowledge of G2 is Wiki based. So I am more open about Brickonicle. However, some things I do not like, and I feel there is a lot of missed opportunities here. So I focused on environment building.
