Just a quick question, I always worry about leaving my trans orange pieces out in the sun, am I worrying too much, or is it possible to burn stuff by filtering sunlight through trans Orange pieces?
I have never heard or seen anything about translucent pieces burning something before.
Anyway you should probably move this to the ask category because you might be better of there since this is a question after all.

Most of the time burning stuff by sunlight is when you have a magnifying glass; something that focuses the sunlight onto a particular spot. You usually don’t have to worry about the window burning the carpet; I’d say the same about translucent pieces. They don’t focus light enough to do any harm.
