Can a Bohrok-Kal have prior Base Elements?

We know the 6 Elements of the Bohrok Kal, but can a Bohrok In case of new Bohrok Kal, can they also get acid, or ice Powers?

Edit title for clear understanding. -square

Most likely not. The bohrok-kal we’re originally normal bohrok and it would be most likely that if there was any possibility of an acid bohrok kal, it would start as acid. The fact that acid becomes vacuum nullifies this. Unless there exists a vacuum bohrok that becomes acid when mutated, the bohrok kal most likely are restricted to their own elements.

So… basically, you want to know whether or not the the Bohrok Kal would have the same powers, similar to the standard Bohrok breeds, in the event that more could be created in the future.
Unfortunately, there isn’t really an answer for this… at least, as far as I’m aware of. We don’t know the exact properties of the substance used to upgrade the Kal, so it’s possible that they might not, but at the same time, the Bohrok are also essentially machines, so what happens to a member of one particular variation might also remain consistent if repeated on other members of the same variation.

Which is why this question is directed at Greg, not the community.
From a community stand point, the answer is very much unknown as not much is, as said, known about their transformation.
Now I wonder however, is it possible Bohrok-Kal could have other elements, like Psionics or Jungle…?

True, but we’re also talking about a mystery mutagen that originally popped up way back in 2003, isn’t Energized Protodermis, and only seems to appear in the backstories of the Bohrok-Kal and Kraata-Kal.
It’s entirely possible that Greg himself might not even know, simply because it wasn’t developed any further.
