“Ignotium is next but we need to get the AN secured first.” He said as he began to get the craft ready to return to the Celestial universe.

Soon, the group would find themselves trespassing into the next realm. It was one of darkness, of shadows and chaos. Barely any light was visible in the area.
They were in the Shadow realm.

“Got it.” Said the angel, as he strapped himself in and prepared to disembark.

Luxatium trudges forward, but slowly falls behind. “It’s like moving through tar.” He mutters.

"We must be careful. This is where the shadows thrive. Our light abilities will be dampened here " Michael warned as they traversed through the Shadow realm.

As Luxatium walked along, he heard…felt…the presence of another id nearby. It was an id of shadow, but it was not Shadow Breaker. It was someone else…

A look of hope comes onto Luxatium’s face. “Are you there?” He whispers into the stygian void.

Luxatium might notice a familiar face, it was Umbrian, chained in some cage.

Michael turned to face the id.
“Umbrian, is that you? What happened to you?” he asked with concern.

The Angels peered outside the window of the craft, to see that one of their group had been left behind.
An angel, in their suit, was “suspended” in the middle of the environment. They had one arm reached out towards the craft, seemingly to call for help. The angel’s filled extraction device floated out of their hand and towards the craft.
The angel’s body began rapidly disintegrating as AN in the environment latched onto their body. The effect was much similar to an Easter Egg dye tablet dissolving in a cup of vinegar. Soon, the angel’s entire body was simply… gone. Not even a skeleton remained.

Dr. X had the craft collect the harvester and the AN it held within.

The other angels looked to Dr. X with shock.
“But what about him?! we can’t just leave him here to die!” one said, pointing out the window.

“He’s already dead, Absolute Nothingness has taken him.” Dr. X said solemnly, “But his sacrifice will not be in vain, nor shall it be forgotten.”

The angels, realizing that Dr. X was right, briefly bowed their heads in mourning.

Dr. X joined the angels in their moment of silent remembrance of their fallen friend, ready to plot a course to return to the Celestial universe.

Soon, the craft arrived back to the Realm of Life. Upon landing, the angels disembarked from the vehicle and headed back into the palace.

After landing, Dr. X carefully moved the AN trap into a secure containment unit to safely extract the AN within it and prepare it for forging.

He looks at the Multiversal Energies, Have you two thought about our earlier exchange? he asked the Primordial and Xalnergy.

The two energies did not respond. They were busy in their perpetual struggle, as always.
