Cataclysm

The limbs of omega split into large heavy duty stabilisers, more akin to a walker than a humanoid, the grinding of metal punctuated by the tearing of something softer and wetter acted as a prelude to the cacophony that was sure to come. Omega now resembling some quadruped tank aimed their cannon at Elias.

Elias stepped back, disoriented.
“No!” He growled.

Elias sighed and snapped his fingers, a wall placed directly in front of the cannon.

ooc: sorry, I meant a wall.

A thunderous sound echoes out as the howitzer-like structure as the shadow wall bends and buckles from the shell forming a lance of darkness currently travelling at Mach 20 towards Elias. Gasses erupt from the cannon as the shell leaves it’s tapered muzzle.

Elias stood calmly as the shell traveled towards him through the wall.

The shell continuing on it’s current path would collide with Elias in under one thousandth of a second

The wall suddenly snapped back to shape, bringing the shell with it.

As the wall returned to it’s shape something happened, a sudden pain transferred to Elias. A quick stab-like pain. The shell clattered back into Omega’s abyss, as they stood up. The shell was a diversion the weapon had in fact quite simply sent Elias into a state of cardiac arrest. masked by the sound of the cannon.

As Elias’ heart was stopped, Richard chucked Project: Sol at him, so that all light in the immediate area was erased and Elias would be unable to escape.

“This ends now!” Michael exclaimed, flying down in front of Elias.
“We can save you, but only if you surrender to us.” Mark said, looking down on Elias.

Sadie watched from nearby, unnerved by the sight and disappointed in what Elias had become.

Elias lay gasping on the ground. The forceful removal of all shadow from him was killing him… The only way to save him was to give back what had corrupted him in the first place.

Omega did not revert to it’s original state, as if it were waiting

“If we save your life, do you eternally swear yourself to us, and promise to loyally fight by our side against The Xir’algath?” Michael asked Elias as he watched him struggle.

Luxatium puts a hand up. “How can we know we can trust him. This is the second time in a few days that he has tried to kill us. Even if we could trust him, Shadowbreaker still has access to his mind.” Luxatium says to Michael.

Luxatium looks at Omega and his group. “Weren’t you members of the collect supposed to take care of him a while ago?”

Omega shrugged as if unaware
Yakiv spoke up again “Seriously why do we not just kill him and be done with it?”

After much though, Michael came up with an idea.

He placed his hand on the back of Elias’ head, placing a psychic defense in his mind made out of pure Primordial energy. Shadowbreaker would no longer be able to corrupt Elias.

With that, Michael restored Elias’ shadow powers.

“You could have done that at any time!?” Yakiv screeches gesturing wildly “I am starting to understand why so many people have contempt for you.”
