Could a LEGO Ideas Project Save Bionicle/Constraction?

######Thinking about it, I would love to see one reworked to be not-Bionicle and just have a fantasy-adventure theme.

Great idea! I donā€™t see why not.

once again there is this.

I honestly would like to see something come out similar to this. I thought that Elves was going to be similar, but it disappointed me. As soon as I heard the phrase, ā€œBFFs over BFsā€ I was out.

Iā€™m working on something I might want to put up on ideas, not really constraction tho. Will probably take quite a while till itā€™s done!
Has something to do with the letters B I and O

but thereā€™s no b in ninjago :stuck_out_tongue:

Dang it! Spelling is hard!

Youā€™re making a statue of Obi Wan!

A new feature just came out on the LEGO Ideas website that allows the user to search and see if a certain IP is allowed. Apparently Bionicle (and all the other original LEGO IPs) are allowed for LEGO Ideas.

Intriguingā€¦

Anyone care to step forward? Iā€™d vote for @BlackboltJohnson :stuck_out_tongue:

This is all speculative of course, but if we could get some people to put builds forward, and the best/most likely to get made would go in, and we get as many of us and any other community members on other platforms that we can find (the subreddit perhaps) to vote for itā€¦

Just a thought.

I would vote for @Sokoda. I think he would be the best for this task, since he has submitted other projects on LEGO Ideas before.

Thank you, as I mentioned before here Iā€™m working on a Bionicle model for quite a while now already and Iā€™m done with my concepts and ideas and Iā€™m building it right now, so Iā€™m not sure how long it will take, but Iā€™m putting a lot of thought and effort into this build!

As far as I know there was never a problem with submitting BIONICLE models on ideas, but now we have the confirmation

There was. For a while. The didnā€™t want anything based on existing or previous lego IPā€™s.

This is true, but thereā€™s also been a while since Bionicle was removed from the list. TTV did a small coverage on it a while back, but I guess no one really took advantage of it who actually had the potential of 10,000 votes as far as Iā€™m aware.

Did they? I didnā€™t see that video. I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever watched the ACTUAL podcast. I mostly just watch Ebay and the spotlight. I mostly listen to the Eljay Johnsen show.

Iā€™ll be sure to look out for it :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, it was on a Brickfeed, Iā€™m pretty sure.

Awesome, might take bit tho

@ProfSrlojohn , @ToaNoah_Wafflemeister So the last time I checked before they added this new feature (which was over a year ago, when I submittet a Ninjago model), they only had a pretty small list of licenses that werenā€™t allowed, which didā€™t include Bionicle.
The rules said, that it is always possible if you submit something based on an existig theme there could be a new Lego model similar to your submission and it was not allowed to start ā€œbring back this theme campainsā€, it didnā€™t say anything about a single model though.

I canā€™t speak for Eljay, so idk. I wouldnā€™t try to ā€œconvinceā€ him. He can support the project if he likes it

Will your project be CCBS, Old Bionicle, or both?
