I remember listening to an old audio book of Lord of the rings and at one point Aragorn invites this Bard to sing about Frodo’s adventures. It was dreadful. The Bard sang high soprano off-key while he played a extremely jarring tune that didn’t even match up with his singing.
Frodo: “Make him stop! Even Mordor wasn’t this bad!”
