I’ve got a bit of a weird relationship with dc Talk. I’ve greatly admire Michael Tait and Toby McKeehan as artists and I absolutely adore Jesus Freak. On the other hand, I’ve tried listening to some of their other older songs and just can’t quite get into their style. Anybody got recommendations?
That being said, I really do love their pseudo-get-back-together track they did on the latest Tobymac album:

Jesus Freak was good. The Newsboys (with Michael Tait) had re-released that song in one of their albums.
There’s a cruise? Shame I can’t go; I’m in college.

That’s how I got introduced to that song (I honestly kinda prefer it to the original).
