With DeviantART replacing premium memberships with “Core” memberships, I think it won’t be long until DA implodes on itself. The community is visibly (for lack of a better term) pissed, and I honestly understand why: being one day greeted by a brand new, overpriced membership system, and having your previous premium membership revoked, would sure as hell make the fires of hatred burn as bright as ever in any human being, especially if sharing your art with the world is something you cherish greatly and spend a lot of time on.

I consider it more to be sharing than promoting. Also we are talking about DeviantART, so naturally usernames and such will be mentioned.
Now I am going to comment on some other stuff here.
I have a similar issue: I rarely get comments which means I get next to no feedback on my art and literature.

Nyran, @Takua … I’m guessing you haven’t seen what I have seen. And for sake of not being flagged, I’m not going to mention said art here. And even though i’m sort of hyping it up… there’s really nothing special to it. Take it from me.
As I just said to Nyran and Takua, it’s not all that special.

Well, I’ve noticed how a lot of the art happens to be fan art. Some of it amazing, some of it absolutely terrible. If you want good art, you gotta search deep for it. Because there is TONS of junk.

I think i had a deviantart once, though never uploaded anything… nowadays its best to just look and not comment on anything ><
