This reminds me of Arakkoa from Warcraft. They were people of noble flying bird-like humanoids - but Arakkoa that did not worshiped their sun god and turned into shadows got their wings cut off and were thrown into a pools of corruption where the weak died in pain and the strong were forever deformed and unable to fly.
Just an interesting fact…there for sure are some decent similarities between these.
Even in appearance.

Though, I must say, I liked him better when he had wings in stead of terrifying prosthetics.
True dat. I’m sure he too liked it better when he had his natural born wings. But life can be so cruel sometimes. And well he does go around picking fights with people. . .
I simply cannot take this guy seriously with those eyes, but the backstory is epic, and while the build of his body is pretty simple, I love the wings and claws, and that bird head is on point.
Is his head meant to represent any particular kind of bird? With that body and that head it kind of looks like a goofy, lean penguin with wings and I’m kind of into it. 
I definitely had a penguin in mind with the way the body is proportioned, and obviously the color scheme too.
But the goofy eyes are sort of like a dodo bird.
Head reminds me of a puffin.
Viewing the head with the rest of the him: he’s a dangerous puffin.
