I’ve
a) done that which should not be done, involving a red axle, and a bohrok head.
b) Found out the hard way that bionicle and power-functions motors don’t mix.
I do a lot of things that some MOCists might look at and an pretty much cal illegal.
All my brown pieces break. 
Also, I somehow always run out of dark grey or light grey tiles when I’m building.
All my dark red pieces break for some reason.

I ended up using/abusing broken pieces for MOCs, creating techniques that would be impossible if the piece wasn’t broken.

Clipping your fingernails too short, so you end up chewing your fingers up while MOCing.

I relate to this a bit too much.
I usually end up using my teeth to pry apart plates because my nails are too short
…or I use a piece separator. Totally.

I did come up with some good dragon head designs but they were too big and I did not have the parts to build such big MOCs.

When you have a certain design or gimmick to a mov but you just can’t figure out a good way to use it without ruining something else like articulation.
