Catina doubled back to the hangar’s second level, and seeing that Daylight minus Sky and Nos were incedibly busy, quickly lobbed both the Plasma Grenades she had into the crowd of Covies trying to overrun the hangar. Then she loaded and quickly used up her last Rain of Oblivion cartridge on the back of a Hunter’s head, before diving off to the side to avoid the fuel rod blast from it’s enraged bonded brother.

“Nos, our men and women are waiting for us. Because of you, they could be wasting their d*mn lives right now. So take my hand, or don’t leave this place alive.” Sky said.

Catina stood up as quickly as possible, and after running behind a pillar to use as cover on the second level, she had to resort to shooting at the Hunter with her M6D. It had little to no effect on the Hunter that faced her, while the hunter fired it’s standard plasma beams at Catina, popping her shields and making a spot on her chest plate glow red as she fell backwards from the rounds hitting her.

Catina continued lying low on the upper deck inn the hangar, occasionally peeking to keep the Hunter focused on her as Kiana finished it off. Then she laid back and breathed a sigh of relife, until she noticed a door open fairly close, and an Elite Ranger holding an Energy Sword emerged. He glanced around, then when he noticed Catina lying on her back he started running right for her.

She barely had time to stand and draw her shotgun, firing once and making him roar in pain as his shields popped and he flinched from the shotgun blast. At the same time he started swinging his sword, and his aim was thrown off by her shotgun hitting him in his side. He managed to create a gash across the top half of her chest plate, and if the sword was unable to cut clean through her armor, the heat and molten titanium did manage to burn her skin through her undersuit.

Catina fell backwards again, and gave her best effort to point the shotgun at the Elite a second time before he could recover and attack again. The second blast knocked him down and presumably killed him. To be sure, and in rage, Catina furiously kicked him until his body slid over the edge, falling to the floor.
