Leygall waited till they were a safe distance away “thank you” he said 'look… Resa lied to you, the real reason she was escorting me was because… i had a nightmare… and the fear from it blinded me… all i could see was an image… of a sangheili female, with her eye sockets bleeding…"
Kiana let sarah into her room, she sat down on the bed “okay are you alright?”

IAs soon as the pelican landed Kaitlynn made her way to the med bay, the First Doctor she saw she spoke to him. “Any news?” She asked Hopefully.
The doctor nodded and handed him a datapad full of notes taken from her leave.
“He’s awake…sort of, he fades in and out, he can barley speak before going into pain, he can’t move, though he tries desperalty, his eyes never fully open. I’d say it could be a month before he can make contact.” He said as Kaitlynn read through the notes. “What’s his pain medication at? That’s probably what’s causing a lack of communication.”
“25 milligrams.” The doctor responded.
“Put him up to 30, if we get any side effects I want it lowered to around 26-28.” She ordered. Before she walked off the doctor stopped her. “Also, Miss Karmyn, another girl has been in the room quite recently.”
“Jess?” She asked
“Yes, that’s her. Should we share any information updates with her?”
“What makes you say that?” She asked curiously. She knew Jess was always hanging around him, but even then they were still confidential.
“Well, we assumed she is his signanfigant other.” Kaitlynn looked at him for a second. “Oh, no…she isn’t, but for now let’s keep things quiet for now, not like Daylight is dying to find out what happened to their squad mate.”
The doctor chuckled. “Yeah, only way Daylight cares is if Sky cares.” He said quietly, She nodded in agreement. “Also, any news on when his first surgery could take place?”
“We are estimating in 2-3 months we could fix his back.”
“Good. Carry on Doc, thanks for helping out.” She said as she turned to enter Blake’s room.

“yeah… look…” Kiana held her hand “here’s my take on it… i am willing to give you a chance… but not if we are still in the LR, it would only put everyone’s lives in more danger than they already are…”

“Home sweet home.” Catina said as she walked off of the Pelican.
“Let’s go see if they are serving breakfast in the mess hall.” Catina said to Aries. “And while I was hoping to see Kay on this trip, I guess things were a bit hectic and everyone doing their part to protect Gahlogali was more important. After all, we were here in the first place because of a sh*tload of trouble.”

Kaitlynn walked into the room to see her brothers, he was breathing, she could see his lips moves, like he was talking to himself "Blake?’ She asked softly approaching him. She walked over and took a seat in the chair next to his bed. He mumbling something a bit louder, feeling as Kaitlynn took his hand.
“Hey…you doing okay?” She asked him, rubbing her thumb over his hand. praying to herself for a response. He gritted his teeth, again the pain shot through his body.
“Hey, don’t push yourself now.” She said, smiling. “You’re alive…that’s all I care about right now. I also have some news.” She said, excited to tell him.
“We’re gonna go see dad again, when you’re able to get back on your feet. Samuel, agreed to help us sneak off the ship and go home.”
Blake heard the news, and on the inside he was happy, it was one of the only good things he had heard, but he could feel himself beginning to pass out, a moment ago he could hear Jess, now he could hear Kaitlynn. How much time had passed he wondered.
“Doctors are gonna increase you’re pain killers to see if you’ll be able to make some contact today, okay?” She stood up and took her helmet off, leaning down to kiss her brothers forehead. “You’ll pull through…like you always do.” She whispered, going to sit back down and spend a little more time with her brother, still holding his hand. She remembered this feeling, when they were first abandonded on that cold april night. She had been grateful it didn’t rain, but it was just her and Blake, standing on the door steps to the bar.

“Did you recognize her?” Sky asked Nos. “Remember… If you need to talk, I’m here.”
“Yup!” Bridget replied.
