“Be careful… I can’t go with you. But I’m counting on you to make it back fast enough for us to get out of here.” Joanna said.
“Let’s go, Sarah.” Tom said, and lead the team to the hangar. Pelicans were being lowered from the ceiling, as well as many heavily modified Sabre I models.
“I know you are.” He said putting his helmet on. “I’ll be back soon, don’t go worry to much over me.” He grabbed his assault rifle and loaded a magazine into it, pulling the handle back to load a shell in, before finishing and hugging her. Meeting up with Daylight.
Tom got aboard with Daylight. "Sarah, I’m deploying a team of my men to help you find Mary. I’m leading the Vulcans to Sky’s approximate position. The rest can find Catina and Butch. I’m also dispatching a team to recover essential technologies for us.
“I don’t know who that woman that commed us is. But I’m pretty sure I don’t like her.” Catina said as she double checked her Shotgun, which would be her go-to weapon inside this ship.
“Captain Stalvern.” Catina said to get his attention. “Just to let you know the Darkstar III also employs Huragoks aka Engineers, and just one can produce more from metal and electronic scraps. They in themselves can be considered essential technologies.”
Sarah nodded. “Thank you…” She said softly as she got her hammer ready.
“I’ll be warning you if anyone attacks from behind.” Hermes said to Catina.
Leo nodded and looked at Daylight. “Let’s go.”
Ana nodded and closed the pelican. She took off and headed towards the DarK star III.
“You’re going to have to get us under the ship, the moment you see a green blinking light you have to pull up. Yell at me and I’ll open that hatch.” Leo said as he remained silent. “I hope she’s still at Gahlogali…”
“Noted.” Catina told Hermes. “And I can still see my motion tracker while scoping or smart linking. So no one should be able to sneak up on me while sniping.”
“Oh and Athena.” Catina said over the coms. “I had been told you know the layout of The Darkstar III, and I waited a bit, but now I’m asking you to send me, or now us, a map should anyone get separated.” @Bigthwomp
Time to go looking for Mamae again. Catina thought in her mind. And to remember these words again.
“Catina A131. Fireteam Daylight.”
“I was trained by Kurt 051 to be the absolute best, the best disciplined, the best taught, and the best physical fitness. My training was better than the training the Spartan II’s received.” She said to herself as she stood on the Pelican.
I remembered that one Spartan doesn’t make a Fireteam. She thought. And with only me alive, Kitsune is indeed long gone.
“These are the pictures of the people we are looking for.” Leo said holding up the data pad to Tom, he had also put a picture of Kyanna just Incase she had returned. “It may be wise to send it to your soldiers.”
Blake looked at Kaitlynn. “Was geschah mit Rot?” (what happened to Red?)
“Himmel im Grunde gezwungen, ihr eine zu spartanisch geworden… obwohl sie Art vereinbart, bin ich nicht so sicher.” (Sky basically forced her to become a spartan…thought she sort of agreed to it, I’m not to sure.)
Blake was surprised she would even agree to such a thing. “Jesus, She’s gotta an diese Idee zumindest sauer werden.” (Jesus, she’s gotta be pissed at the idea at least.)
Kaitlynn just shrugged to his comment as they took a seat.
“Aries, Ana.” Catina said to both of them over a private com. “Sitrep. Mariana is somewhere on this ship, and so is Mary. Should we try to rescue one of them? Mariana may wish to be rescued after Mary is, I don’t know.”
“Also Aries.” Catina added. “Somewhere on that ship is one smug old ■■■■■, who may very well have stopped you and I from visiting our favorite coffee shop on Titanus ever again.”
Leo connnected to the Darkstar as they approached. “We shouldn’t be detected… now.” He said as they got under it. “Alright pull up here!”
Ana nodded and did so, as she did Leo opened up the hatch that allowed the pelican to go in.
“I’ll help find Mariana.” Ana said as she avoided pipes and metal.
(since spetz is taking a break… for the sake of progress i’ll do this)
Zorya was soon escorted to a nearby room by a sangheili worker. The council doors shut and Jikan stepped out of his gravity throne, he walked over to the doctor and stared down at him “what exactly will you be doing to my warrior?” he asked, his tone slightly angered.
“Well, she’ll be trained to handle one of the most complex and ambitious suits of armor ever created by human hands. Well, and Sangheili. The Helioskrill model was built by Sangheili.” Glasgow explained
“i have heard of this armor, the female engineer who designed it certainly was impressive” Jikan said as he walked over to the seven large pillars and leaned against one “at least she will be wearing an armor designed by our kind… i can take solace in that…” he said as he calmed down. he walked back to the doctor and nodded to him “very well then, i trust her squad leaders judgement in you”
