marketing reason, to hide the Toa of lights true identity. Story reason, it’s kinda like why the Toa mata changed to the Toa Nuva. In a sense Takua becoming a Toa was kinda like being Takua Nuva. Ofcourse Nuva was chosen in honour of the Toa Nuva, though why he couldn’t just be Takua Nuva instead of Takanuva, remains uknown.
