I am in the lee-wah camp.
Inika/Ignika: In-ike-ah/Ig-nike-ahEhlek: Eel-eck
I used to have trouble with Onewa/Onua and thought Phantoka was Pantoka
I say “Lee-wa”.
I suppose I put more empahasis in the “ig” in IG-nee-ka, and more emphasis in the “ni” in i-NEE-ka.
I pronounce Matao Maw-tow. Not sure if that’s different, but I say it that way.
I say:Lee-wuh (although sometimes lay-wuh)Nid-hick-eeEe-nike-uhIg-neek-uhJall-er (I refuse to say jah-luh)Muh-tore-ohEh-reeEel-eck Eye-runiI think I used to say Bah-rock
I never knew exactly how it "Antroz" is pronunced
I always say "An" as in "an apple" and then "Troz" rhyming with "flaws".
I have a bad habit of calling him "Antronz"
...I have no idea why. It's just a thing.
When I see people mention him, some people pronounce this name quite differently. I hear some people pronounce it Kai-Rocks, while others say it Kee-Rocks. Looking on some online sources, according to BionicleSector it's also pronounced Kee-Rocks, while on Bionicle Wiki on Fandom, they say it's pronounced Chee-Rocks.Which pronounciation is the correct one?
...I say it "See-rex"
I just always pronounced it how it looked. Chih-Rocks.
I'd say Kai-rocks or Kee-rocks is right.
Chee-Rocks sounds the best, and I don't care if it's Kee-Rocks or Kai-Rocks, I'll still pronounce it Chee-Rocks.
Kai-rocks is how I do it, but I don't have many Bionicle fan friends I haven't conditioned to argue with about it, so I have no idea if I'm right or not.
I pronounce it "Cheer-ox".
This is probably the least likely one...
Everyone calls it differentlyFriend 1: Chee RoxFriend 1’s brother: Kye RoxFriend 2: Kee RoxFriend 1’s brothers ex girlfriend: Keer roxFriend 3: Kire Rox
I call him Cheerios.
I always read it as "Sheer-rocks".
Both Chirox and his partner, Kirop, are likely based on the word "chiroptera", the scientific name for bats, so the CH supposed to be pronounced as a K.
I still say it as "CHEE-rocks", though.
I used to call the Toa Inika "Toa In-Ai-Ka" until around 2015.
I also used to say Rahaga Kualas' name as "Koala's" rather than "Kool-us" like it is meant to be pronounced.
