Well he is called TakaNUVA for a reason.
Heās called Takanuva because itās a contraction of Takua Nuva, because he wanted to refer to himself as a Nuva even if he was technically not one, due to his familiarity with the actual Toa Nuva; thatās the in-story explanation, but the real reason is that the story team didnāt want people to guess that Takua would transform into Takanuva so they changed his name

Why couldnāt they have just called the set Toa of Light or something?
In the early years of Bionicle, āToa of ___ā didnāt even appear in set names; Tahu was Tahu, etc.
