how do i make a titan moc?

There isn’t necessarily one way or another to start when it comes to a titan; I would probably check out some other titan MOCs that people have made for inspiration. Other than that, you just have to kinda start trying different things.
This is a very effective strategy I use when I moc.
Here are all of the spheres in lego’s element catalog in LDD ordered by size.
Notice that near the middle of the line the spheres become more defined and clearer. Smaller spheres are molded in with prefab elements down to the tiny crown. Larger spheres become split into smaller shapes up to the huge glass one. This is the nature of lego.
Now a sphere is a constant. Every sphere is identical with the exception of scale.
So say I want to build this
I pick a sphere with a connection point on it somewhere and build with a larger one
Now what are the line of spheres used for? Many things. Pom poms, cherries, meteors, boulders, helmets, eyes. All of these spheres are interchangeable. So you could build insect eyes out of helmets for example.
Or if you wanted to build a really big insect you’d use larger spheres for eyes like the fruit tree near the rightmost side of the line.
This is the basis behind npu, scaling and figuring out shortcuts.

You could just use Umerak’s horns. They come two sizes which is nice.

Does anyone have an idea for a custom body design which incorporates the Inika chestplate into it?
One of them, but it’s a touch… odd/fidgety in design.

Now, I’m not going to get too in-depth with the build, for the most part what I’ll display is basically self explanatory anyways.
Step 1 - the frame:
Step 2 - Frame covering:
Now then, no this exact build is not necessary. All that is necessary is the black 2 axle connector and 2 proper length axles.
Mine just has details added on.
Now then, the HF shield is also not necessary, just a piece with matching spaced holes.
The ice shield just provides the best cover.
And yes, there are small spaces between the axle topper and the shield. That is necessary but it basically does it itself when you connect it.
Part 3 - finishing up:
So now all you need to do is stopper the visible, loose axles. Any stopper can be used, I just used my angled pieces for the added details.
And, unfortunately, only the straight ball joint addon so far works for the torso connection.
I like it, but the shoulders are too low.
Ah, those can be switched out for either the straight versions, or just flipped to the opposite angle. I just needed ‘em low for the moc that uses that chest.
Without it ‘er shoulder pads make her arms seem off.
