I'm just gonna quote a post I made in a YouTube video that I did on the subject of Klonoa in Smash Bros:

"For me, the only character that I'd want in Smash Bros (And the one that's actually make me get off my lazy butt & get a WiiU/ 3Ds) would be Klonoa, I feel that he would fit in perfectly with the other Smash Bros characters, and be a good way to bring more attention to a game series that sadly doesn't get as much recognition as it really should."

EDIT: Not only what I said in the above text, but I also think that he would have quite a good moveset, with many unique moves as demonstrated by this picture I found on another message board website:
