What parts of your Lewa figure seem loose? 'Cuz he and the Stormie use lots of the same CCBS bones…

Meh, the 25$ CAD price feels just a little too high for me.

The Hordika neck balljoints used for the shoulders on my copy of Lewa have (or, rather, had) so little friction that they could not hold any decent pose, not that I could find a decent pose for him anyway. Those parts do not appear on the Stormtrooper, so that’s a good sign, I guess.

$25? I got it for $20 here in the states. That stinks…
If it goes on sale, then you should get the set. :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t think a balljoint like this can really have problems with friction. The connector piece is the more likely source of the problem. Even then, these new socket pieces are supposed to consistently have very good friction and durability. Even then, your experience seems very bizarre given LEGO’s quality standards.

Yup. I’d like to nab some of the SW Ultrabuilds when they go on clearance. I really want Grievous.

I tested both the Hordika neck and the Y-joint. The Y-joint was fine when placed on another Hordika neck (specifically Gali’s and Pohatu’s) but the Hordika neck had very little friction on Y-joints or any other parts for that matter. Truly a shame, as I have never had that bad of a QC issue on any Lego set ever.

That is really peculiar. You’ve contacted customer service about getting a replacement, right?

Yes. I got replacement parts, but things like this really shouldn’t happen in the first place. It ruined my view of the set as a whole, and now it is my least favorite Bionicle set of all time that I own. I don’t want to get too specific, as I would go off topic, but I’m pretty sure I could mention it elsewhere in another part of the forum.

That said, I really wish the summer sets weren’t priced they way they are. :frowning:
They all look so great! Resistance X-Wing and Vader’s TIE are undoubtedly my favorites of the wave, but I have no chance of getting them unless I win the lottery. :expressionless:

I was going to buy a First Order battle pack but instead opted for an Avengers set.

My real problem is that there are only two FO Stormtroopers. I probably would have bought it if there were three.

I like the TFA line but the sets just seem too expensive for what they contain.

The FO snowspeeder is pretty well priced for what’s in it

Yeah, but that’s one of the only good value TFA sets.

They are (almost) all good sets, just too costly.

Well it was even better pruced for me as I got a free c3-p0 with it

Sweet.

My only issue is that this is the same price:

And objectively seems like a better value, but it really comes down to whether you like Star Wars or Marvel.

They’re a great line. Better pick them up now before they hit the aftermarket then they’ll be really costly.

Well this was a horrible set. LEGO 8016 Hyena Droid Bomber | Brickset
I remember when I first got it, it flimsily fell apart. I got so frustrated with it I scrapped it for parts.

I love that set! I’ve even got two. I can sorta understand how the wing connection point can be flimsy sometimes, but that doesn’t break the set IMO.

I actually really like that set.

So what are people thinking of the rogue one sets? I’ll probably be getting the hover tank and maybe the U-wing hopefully

They look like solid designs for the most part and the minifigs are gorgeous. Unfortunately, they’re also a bit outside of my price range.

I feel you, I usually get one big set per year and usually it’s a Star Wars set so think the U-wing will be that set
