Mahri Nui, reimagined

It’s been a while since I did a piece of landscape, so here’s my favorite location in Bionicle, reimagined to have a hand of the Great Spirit Robot as its center piece.

I like Mahri Nui and the atmosphere it created back in 2007, I think Christian Faber made an amazing job with it, I just wanted to experiment with it a bit, giving it a twist of sorts. Hope you like it.

This is an extremely awesome landscape, and an inventive new take on the concept! In fact, it actually pains me that Mahri-Nui wasn’t in Mata-Nui’s hand to begin with.

Love the pixel style, reminds me of the old Bionicle Gameboy games.

Would you mind if I use this as a reference for a landscape painting? I really enoy the environment and I’d like to do my own rendition!

In all seriousness, it looks awesome.

Sure, man, go for it. It’s probably not gonna make much sense for Mahri Nui to be in Mata Nui’s hand, I just kinda liked the idea of how that sounded.

Oooh, I like it. The fingers seem a little spindly, but I think the idea is still golden.
