The drawing itself is very well done. I will say that the orange doesn’t fit too well with the Tiroan design, especially the shoulders. Could you try the version with the goggles for a comparison?

That is a fair point, but the idea is that Nuparu is a character who doesn’t exactly fit in. It might be nice to see a version that fits the Tioran color scheme better, though.
That’s what I meant. It’s not too much the presence of the orange, but I guess it’s the shade of orange that I find doesn’t fit. It looks a bit too pale (if that’s the right word), which is my main criticism. If @swezz were to do the version with goggles as well as this design with slightly less pale (still not sure if that’s the right word) of an orange, it would be a better comparison.
Still, it’s a very good picture.
Backstory idea: She was always the most inovative and quick-thinking matoran of her tribe but that brought shame to her family. She had ideas of lights that would last longer than candles, machines that could replace tools and rahi but her favorite were weapons. She was exiled by the village court when one of her friends found out about the BOXOR project and the rumor soon became a well known fact- Nuparu was making a war machine.
This is just a quick backstory idea. I would like to know your thoughts on this before I add more stuff.

Once again, excellent design for Nuparu. Her new colors work much better, in my opinion, and I really love the addition of the goggles. Nice detail on the grease spots, too.
I’ve made a topic about the Vahki that could help you with her reasons for being exiled, as well as a topic on the Bohrok that could be used to develop her later story.

Her trying to overcoat her original colours with orange and the poncho and skirt.
10/10 would try to get canon for the sake of looking into the techology of ancient past that TTV might deny exsist but is bound to admit exsists eventually…

Simply due to Visual look.
You might say it look strange… but Matorans never came to me as… much more than children… Cable children for sure but Children no less.
Oh no, I’m actually on the short leg side, I just haven’t seen them in a while lol, I got used to seeing them with long legs is all.

It really does look disproportionate. With the hobbit legs, the torso still remains the same size, so it just looks like someone chopped off a character at the knees.

Introducing
Some personality, backstory and skill ideas for her:
-for personality, I think that she could be a bit like Lin Beifong from Korra but a bit more “chill” and younger.
-she could be the 3rd in command in Naho and would be respected by the other arbiters and villagers. She would let Gali stay in the arbiters because she would be one of the few to have faith in her and would be like a mentor to Gali.
-fastest swimmer in Naho, often a bit too agressive, reckless tactics but always successfull, a better fighter than Tahu and Kopaka before they became the toa, artist in free time (the “flames” on her armor would represent her rage
These are just some of my ideas for G3 Dalu.
Also, it took me two days to make the rau design and I think it turned out great.
