The year is 21XX. Robotics have advanced so far that robots have gained sentience. These 'Reploids' live in peace with the humans, living equally with them, but there's one problem that faces this world...

The Sigma Virus, a 'disease' that infects only Reploids and other machinery, causing them to wreak havoc. To stop them, and what causes this, the formerly righteous Reploid Sigma, the Maverick Hunters patrol the world, saving those who need saving, and defeating any Mavericks who wish to harm the world.

Another Maverick outbreak has occurred, it is up to the Maverick Hunters, and any others who take it upon themselves, to stop them...

Signas, current commander of the Maverick Hunters, looked at the new team of Hunters, consisting of old and new Reploids to this force.

“Sen, Plague Raven(@Toa_Distraxx), Kronos, Blaze(@BlackBeltGamer98), you all have been put on this new squadron of the Maverick Hunters. However, you won’t have time to get to know each other better before your first mission. X and Zero have found Sigma, and need backup. You have coordinates of where they are, and a way to communicate with each other with the radios you’ve had installed. Now, get going. Hopefully we can prevent another outbreak of the Sigma Virus.” He leaves the room.

OOC: Nice, the RP is up!

IC: Plague Raven jumps on a Ride Chaser, and begins to drive off to the coordinates sent to him. This will be fun.

OOC: If this makes literally no sense I'll change this

[Runa]

The spots where Sen’s Achilles would be popped out, revealing boosters which he used to run after him, albeit not as fast and slowly losing him. “Wait up for us!”

Kronos and Blaze were hesitant to leave. "Perhaps I should stay at base and help from there?" Kronos asked, he was rightly afraid of Sigma and dreaded what evil would be made possible through his power of Time Manipulation.

Blaze groans, "Why did I let myself get talked into this; combat is not my primary function, I should be at a fusion reactor power plant and not worrying about meeting one of the maddest and most insane scientists in history." The both of them were fairly new Reploids and weren't all too willing to fight for some reason or other which could be simplified to one word: Fear.

After a lot of talking it out, the two agreed that they had a job to do. "I just hope we don't regret this." Kronos says. "Look, you can stop time for about 5 seconds maximum at this point; I have a feeling that could save our hides. Don't worry, the Commanders will keep us safe." Blaze says as he gets on a vehicle with a sidecar and they both get moving, soon catching up with Plague Raven (@Toa_Distraxx).

[Runa]

Sen ran beside them. “Glad to see ya caught up. We’ll be there soon.” After a pause, he continued. “Don’t worry. We’ll only need to fight if X and Zero fail. And that’s a big if.”

Kronos kept silent. Blaze said "Comforting." in a deadpan tone then motioned for Sen to grab onto the vehicle.

[Runa]

He does.

They are approaching what seems to be an old, abandoned apartment complex.

[Toa_Distraxx]

PR sees the abandoned building in the distance. "Well, that looks friendly enough." He says in a sarcastic tone.

OOC: I'll be calling Plague Raven "PR" most of the time.

Blaze and Kronos keep quiet.

OOC: so, are we gonna take approach Vector Sigma? (Please get the pun)

IC: (@Toa_Distraxx, @Runa). Kronos and Blaze wait for someone else to give the orders as they are currently wanting to put as much distance between them and Spooky Hills Apartments as possible but aren't because they've come this far and they'd pretty much get court martialed, at the least, for turning tail and running away.

[Runa]

Fighting can be heard within, along with the sounds of lasers, followed by an explosion, and a screaming voice. “...I’VE ALREADY WON!” It seems you missed the first part of this monologue/conversation.

Sen cautiously walks forward, a one-handed sized sword hilt in his right hand.

Plague Raven gets off his Ride Chaser before slowly beginning to walk to the abandoned building.

Blaze and Kronos begin to slowly walk towards the building; Blaze has an unusual ranged weapon on his arm and a sword in his left hand. Kronos has two swords similar to Blaze's and is in a more defensive stance. (@Runa)

[Omega_Tahu]

Aris shows up, because he's involved now.

[Runa]

Sen turns. “Restricted area, currently under investigation of the Maverick Hunters. Please leave.”

Another explosion went off, purple...something leaking into the sky from the warehouse.

Kronos gulps, "Guys. Why is there a purple cloud ascending into the storm from the building and is anyone else feeling like we should get the commanders and high tail it out of here?" Blaze shakes his head. "Yup, I am actually agreeing with this guy on this one."

[Runa]

Sen’s eyes widen. “Sigma...” He runs up. “X! Zero! Is everything alright!”

Two Reploids, one primarily blue, another red and white run out quickly, beckoning to follow as they hopped into their Ride Chasers and speed off.

PR notices X and Zero leave. "I'm assuming they want us to follow."

Blaze and Kronos follow, Blaze using his ranged weapon to bring down the structure via a disk of explosive plasma.

[Runa]

“I think you’re right!” Sen said as he ran after.

The purple cloud began to settle towards the ground.

Kronos waited for the right moment when everyone was in range then yelled out, "Za Warudo!!" Time stopped and he told them to get these vehicles to top speed yesterday! (@Runa, @Toa_Distraxx)
