Well over the past month I have been building a new base on my favorite server I figured I’d show it off.

I love it. What server is that? It certainly reminds me of a really old sky base I made on a factions server long ago.

I have been on this server longer than many of the staff. Over the course of my time there I have had at least 7 bases (I’m only proud of the last 3) and been griefed in excess of 30 times. The server is mostly centered around vanilla survival but it has a few plugins. (slimefun being a favorite of mine).
Oh and I made some aditions to the gold farm since those photos were taken.

So with 1.9 out now, is it any good? I have yet to try it, I’ve been too caught up in playing my modded 1.8 version with friends lately, so I just never bothered. =P

It is pretty good, the end got super overhauled and now you can set your dominant hand to be left or right, and they added gliders. All in all, a good update

I may just be the only guy who likes the new attack cooldowns. The old combat was just spam clicking.

I would make it Player Run Gyms
but one problem is I have never run a Server before

Well first you need to pick a host that you like. (See if you can get a code from a youtuber’s video. They often have deals).
Just google minecraft server hosting.
The other option is minecraft realms
Then you need to build the stuff for your server.
And finally you invite people.
Voila that was my bootleg guide to server creation.
(Oh I also recommend starting a Patreon or something to help offset costs)
