I recently got around to listening to the second episode of Nak and Jay, and they mentioned the core of Bionicle. Here’s my take: my personal core of Bionicle is not the story, sets, atmosphere, mystery, characters, advertising, setting, , etc. etc. My personal core is not any single one of those things, it is all of them at once, working together in sync and harmony to create a perfect storm that will most likely never be recreated, because almost nobody today, save a few (i.e. Dark Crystal) has the patience to slowly craft every one of these elements into a product.
Any thoughts? All criticisms are accepted.
