Probably very early promotional images. Possibly from a story bible? I know I’ve seen it before…
That art was only ever used on the back of the first comic, for an ad for the Quest for the Masks TCG.
That particular copy you’ve uploaded is from the original PSD on the 2003 Style Guide discs.

This was a fan-exhibit event at a children’s museum way back if I remember correctly. The guy who did this had some serious commitment.
