Nidhiki

Alright, I’ve been working on this bad boy for a little while. First of all, credit to @cat because, while this isn’t directly inspired, I did take some notes from his version of Nidhiki.

Anyways, I think this turned out really well, but I definitely need to work on shading. So please, please leave any tips for shading in the comments. I would greatly appreciate it. And, as always, let me know what you think too. All C&C is welcome and appreciated

(Also, the shadow needs work, but it was too late to change it)

I have the weird sensation that the other thin from the other side of it’s head is not present. I mean yes, you can argue that it is covered by the left thin, but we could have seen a part of it anyway.

The drawing is really good, I just don’t see it as Nidhiki because I always imagine Nidhiki being very thin and spindly.

The head is a little smol.
I’m totally fine with this thicc bulking Nidhiki. It’s just that the head doesn’t match up in size

That’s fair, especially when you consider that the light green is more like a crown or crest
