Ninjago Movie Discussion (and Speculation) Topic

I just noticed this film comes out the day before my birthday.

Most of the Ninjago Movie product animations are on the website. Except the fire mech and the Destiny’s Bounty. The clips also give us soundtracks that will be in the movie.

Looking at these animations I think my favorite set is the Water Strider.

Some guy on youtube has already gotten all the sets and started reviewing them with the Temple Of Ultimate Ultimate Weapon being first.

Brace yourself for impact! Here comes the Destiny’s Bounty!

Just so no one spends 42 minutes of their day, the videos mostly consist of building the set. They’re not really reviews, more so as showcases of the sets. The temple is filled to the brim with traps cleverly hidden away, and Destiny’s Bounty has a lot of hidden compartments and generous amounts of space for minifigs.

EDIT: From what I’ve found, these sets are sets found early in stores lucky enough to receive them. Brickvault has gotten ahold of some of the Ninjago Movie sets. Here’s their video on the Green Ninja Mech Dragon.

The dragon is absolutely fabolous! I’ve watched the live stream building and those rubber technic connectors at the waist section is a very smart solution! I’ve never seen it in rubber form before but it allows the dragon to have some posability at the lower part, also it is a solid connection. My number 1 on the pick up list.
The Fire Mech however, ( which I’ve also watched the live stream building and it’s review is now also up on their channel,) is kinda of a let down. No bendable knees, barely posable ankles. The whole thing can mostly stay in one pose like a stature, only the arms have posability. The cockpit ca only be opened if the upper section is folded up. Kai doesn’t have his katana holders. I am almost sure that the the Hammerhead villain minifigure head is actually the same one which Karloff had back in the Tournament of Elements wave. Possible crossover reference?

These are incredible.

Great and all, but it sucks that the other ninja haven’t gotten their own poster.

Brickvault is doing a live stream building of the Destiny’s Bounty right now!

So there I was, searching on Ebay for the new Ninjago movie sets, and I found these. The Quake mech, and green ninja mech dragon. I don’t see any confidential markings, so I believe I can post it here. Anyways, here they are:

As I said before, you should probably notify brickset about this, as they don’t have it in their database
