Okotan Adventures

Forty-four said nothing, having passed out.

Hitora activates his gauntlet. “I could…’knock’ if I need t-“ It then occurs to him who’s house this was again. “Um, on second thought maybe not a good idea.” He then finishes. He sees a note on the ground in front of the door, as if it had fallen off the door. “What’s that?”

Icar kept an eye on 44 while Korā gave Blaze the letter from Ekimu. “You need to go, you are late already.” She said.

Blaze looked it over and put it away, “What about him?” He asks, pointing to 44’s unconscious form.

Korā got some vines and tested them, they broke and she went to another bunch of them and began shaping them into a rope. “We’ll take care of him.” She said.

Blaze took the Gukko’s reins(?) and flew up, heading back to the city.

Korā and Icar began binding 44 with the vine-rope.

“I dunno,” Jaspar says. He crouches down and picks it up, examining it closely. Pheore crosses her arms and looks on with a scowl.

Blaze steers the Gukko to hover above the meeting hall’s entry and tells it to go get his parents.

He jumps off and rolls to minimize the he receives. He groans as he still feels hurt from 44’s attack and, shakily, gets up and heads into the building.

The Gukko heads back to pick up Blaze’s parents.

Meeting hall, huh… Jaspar thinks, replacing the note for future inquirers. He stands, incorporating a bit of a stretch into the motion. “So, uh, either of you guys know where the meeting hall is? The note says Ekimu’s there.”

“And did it occur to you that maybe Ekimu was having a meeting at the meeting hall?” Pheore counters. “Maybe talking to you isn’t the most important thing he has to do right now.”

“It’s not like we have to interrupt his meeting,” Jaspar says, turning and making a motion as if to grab something that isn’t there before letting his arm rest at his side. “We can wait there for him to finish.” He starts to walk back down the steps before pausing, glancing back at Hitora. “Do you, uh, know where the meeting hall is?”

“I doubt it’s in the same place as a few millenia ago, but we can check.” He says as he walks off.

Blaze asks the person at the front desk where Ekimu is, showing them the letter summoning him.

“It’s something to try,” Jaspar agrees, following Hitora. Pheore glances back at the forge one more time before joining the others.

He points to a room.

Hitora walks through the city, going towards where he remembers the meeting hall being.

Blaze walks over to it after thanking the nice man.

Jaspar and Pheore follow him. Jaspar’s eyes are on Hitora’s feet as they walk, and Pheore seems to be trying to be small,

Blaze knocks on the door before entering the room.

If there were any chairs in the room, Gladius did not use them. He stood, the point of his blade in front of his feet, as he stoically stood with his hands on the hilt of the sword.

“Not a fan of chairs?” Blaze asks humorously as he takes a seat. This guy’s tense. He thought.

@Chromeharpoon, @Runa Tarkur wakes up from his sleep. It wasn’t uncommon for him too do such a thing. It’s a practice that Tarkur thought was really effective due too he at several time been able to note the sounds of animals and other creatures lurking about in the night and if he was awake when said animals would attack. This in of itself had increased the survival rate of the transports he escorted

Hitora walks over to a building. “Huh. This doesn’t seem to be it.”

@Jcton He’d see an arch-like doorway nearby, leading to what seemed to be a bridge outside.

@Tarkur Nuuma stirred a bit in his sleep.

Ekimu sighs. “Due to the recent catastrophe, I couldn’t research where any other artifacts were. I suggest you get as much of the group together as possible and explore through the jungle. That would be a good place to start looking.”

“Greeeat,” Pheore groans. “What are we gonna do now?” Jaspar waves to a nearby pedestrian, getting their attention.

“Hey, do you know where we could find the meeting hall?” The other Okotan nods, and begins giving Jaspar directions. Pheore’s scowl deepens.

“I guess that works.”
