Pestilence (RP topic)

Raphael and Hydronicus intently watched and waited.

Arkan would find that Æhnyir was being held nearby in a secret underground temple.

“What did you find” asked Hydronicus.
@Runa

After finishing, he activates the circle, and the ground inside of it begins to show a picture of the area in which Æhnyir was.

Hydronicus studied the room in the image closely.
“Wait, I think I know where that is.” He said, motioning to a nearby Cellar entrance.
“This way.”

Amadeus glanced at his cultists, and back at Æhnyir.
“Well, let’s see a display of those ‘tricks’, shall we?” He said as smoke started coming from his hands.

Suddenly, Hydronicus and Raphael burst into the room, followed by Rohan and Arkan(assuming they accompanied them.)

“Stop right there, worshipper of evil!” Raphael exclaimed.
Amadeus looked at the group, before cocking his head.
“No.” He said, shooting a massive fireball at them.

Æhnyir smiles, he has his target. He mutters something inaudibly and begins draining mana from Amadeus.

Amadeus stumbled back, feeling slightly dizzy. He pulled out his shaman skull staff and directed several ice spikes at Æhnyir using the mana he still had.
@Jcton

Æhniyr took the hits, there wasn’t too much he could do tied up. Well…there was one more thing he could do, he used his spellbound ability to weaken Amadeus.

Amadeus doubled down, feeling dizzy.

Hydronicus ran towards Æhnyir and cut his ropes.
“Are you okay?” He asked.

Æhnyir looks at the knight,
“Surprised you made it.”
He drew his sword,
“But it would’ve been best if you hadn’t.”
Æhnyir strides over to a cultist and growls,
“I would leave if I were you.”

Amadeus held something behind his back.
I must do it now… he thought.

Amadeus hastily uttered a prayer underneath his breath, before diving at Æhnyir with a ceremonial sacrificial dagger.

Rohan ducked behind a chair, the fireball missing him.
“Yow!”
He clapped his hands together, and two large bears burst through the door that Rohan and his friends had entered through.
They roared in symphony and scanned the room, growling angrily.

Æhnyir turns around hearing the sudden footsteps encroaching upon his position. In the moment He held his sword in front of himself in defense and if Amadeus was unable to react he would most likely find himself running himself into the blade.

Amadeus fumbled his hands, and the dagger clattered to the ground, right at Æhnyir’s feet.

Amadeus himself fell to the ground in a failed attempt to catch the dagger. He saw the dagger nearby Æhnyir, and tried to scramble towards it as fast as he could.

Æhnyir steps back two steps and barks at Amadeus,
Stand up!
The knight would not kill an enemy laying before him or unarmed.

Amadeus shot a surprise fireball at Æhnyir to catch him off guard and knock him off balance.
He swiped his dagger back and drove it towards Æhnyir’s chest.

The bears growled and charged at Amadeus.

Æhnyir, in defense, drove his sword to pierce Amadeus’ body, putting the full weight of his body into this blow.

@Jcton
Amadeus staggered, and tried to block with the dagger. But in the process the sword drove his dagger through his heart.

Amadeus stumbled back, blood gushing from his chest and mouth. He coughed up blood, before laughing. He broke out into a howl of laughter, which was more like blood gurgling in his mouth.

“You idiot…” he whispered before falling to the ground, dead.

The spot in which Amadeus lay was a ritualistic altar. The blood pooled around his body and seeped into symbols carved into the altar. It was almost as if it were purposeful.

Æhnyir feels the demonic power invade him. His eyes flash and his pupils become a ungodly yellow, glowing as if they were a distant star. Horns grew from his helm and it became like the face of a twisted monster. The face of a lion opened its mouth and formed on his chest plate, gaping wide as the rest of the demonic armor reshaped itself around Æhnyir. His sword was changed as well becoming larger and heavier, its size and weight became that so no normal human could lift it with ease, due to its mass, though Æhnyir held it with one hand and with ease. His monstrous form was now complete and the beast looked around at the cultist, raising its sword.

The armored beast charged at a cultist, aiming to stab it through with its beastly blade.
