plans for more Bionicle writers?

I know many people worked on developing the line early on, but it seems that you, C. A. Hapka and the writers of the movies were the only ones Lego ever had actually write the published stories. Was this for consistency in style, or any other reasons? I only ask since many franchises have a ton f writers working at the same time in the same continuity.

We didn’t really need that many writers. Cathy started on the books for the first year and then I took over, in part because being on the story team, there was a lot less chance of approvals problems with me doing the writing (I knew what the story was and was going to be, so I wasn’t going to step on plot toes.) At any rate, we had the comics and the books, which I did … the video games, which I had pretty much nothing to do with and were done by someone else … and the four movies, which I believe had two screenwriters total.
