Question on the DH/Rahi contests?

Hello Greg! If you’re ever coming back to the boards…

Back in the day there were two major contests, the Dark Hunter contest and the Rahi contest. From my understanding, the contestants made the models and the lore for their models, atleast partially. Is this correct, or did you write the lore on the Dark Hunters/Rahi from scratch?

If anyone involved with the contest, preferably someone who actually sent in a model, would like to answer this, go ahead.

I wasn’t involved in ether contest, but the pages in Lego Magazine told contestants to write an essay on their character.

I do know that in Firedrakaz’s case the photographer assembled the character wrong and so the incorrect design became the canon one.

No. The original, correctly built model is considered canon.
