if takanuva took off his avokii would he stay the same or become a matoran again?
Takanuva is permanently transformed. Removing his mask would be like removing a normal Toa’s mask.

Takanuva has taken if off before, too (in Dark Destiny, he takes it off to test out the Suletu they find).
