There are plenty of cool hacks of all sorts of games out there. My personal favorites are Hyper Metroid (Super Metroid), CTGP Revolution (Mario Kart Wii), and New Super Mario World 1: The Twelve Magic Orbs (Super Mario World).
What do you guys think?

I’ve played plenty of Sonic hacks, with varying degrees of enjoyment.

I don’t know if this would count as a hack, but it’s the chest in Dawnstar from Skyrim.
