“Th-thanks.” Beth says quietly blushing a little.
Hmm, was it Ice or Wind that was white? One way to find out. He makes an ashen column in front of a glowing white boulder and it gets swept up but a strong wind before the boulder hits it. Alright. Ash waits for the next white boulder and stands in front. Again, using his bracer and Aura, he stops the boulder and uses hardened ashes on his feet and the ground to keep himself in place as the winds surrounding the boulder pushed him. The panel opened and the third light turns on, letting Ash move to the last part.
He simply smiled in response.
Beth continues to purr loudly.
He continues to pet her.
She smiles up at him as she continues to purr.
He just pets her.
Beth starts to rub against him gently.
The last panel was blue. So, I’m hoping this doesn’t flood the place, he thinks. He waits for a blue boulder and stands in front of it. A wave of water forms in front of the boulder and Ash panics and jumps out of the way.
He kissed her cheek.
Beth smiles up at him, as she continues to gently rub against him.
And he still pets her.
The pizza arrives.
“I’ll get it.” Bwthbamsays as she sits up.
Okay, so what next? Ash thinks as he tries to think of some way to stop the boulder. He gets an idea and starts covering the ramp with hot ashes. The next blue boulder rolls and the water turns to steam as the ashes slow it down. The panel catches the boulder and the fourth light turns on, opening the door. Ash walks through the door and sees the artifact, which revealed itself to be a new bracer and knee armor. When Ash tries them on, he felt different somehow. He walks back across the bridge when a normal boulder approaches as he walks. He blocks a lot easier and even pushes back, crumbling the boulder. Ash smiled as he exited the shrine.
he waits.
Beth goes and pays for the pizza. She comes back up and sits next to him.
“what kind is it?”
“Your favorite.”
Ash goes out to hunt for celebration dinner.
“please not be Hawaiian.”
