“Hmm,” Kota simply says as he rubs the back of his neck. He coughs twice and sniffles.
“bless you” Alice tells him.
“Thanks, Alice,” Kota says.
Natalie says to Toko, “I’m surprised you’re still awake.”
“you’re welcome.” she replies as Toko shifts back.
Natalie adjusts to the sudden ■■■■■.
Toko struggles to say “mew”
“What happened to your voice?” Natalie asked, now concerned.
Kota was about to speak, but kept quiet.
Toko shugs.
Natalie looks at Kota and Kota shrugs as well. Natalie rolls her eyes and says, “Well, don’t try to hard, especially if it starts to hurt.”
she nods in response.
I guess she won’t find out tonight after all. Kota says to the three of them, “I think it’s time to go to bed.”
Natalie looks at him confused, but Kota simply nods.
“do we have to?” asks Alice as Toko nods in agreement.
“Yes. Don’t worry, I’ll watch out for you guys, okay? You’ll be sleeping with Natalie tonight,” Kota says as he looks at her.
She nods and stands up.
OOC: foiled again…
IC: “okay” sighs Alice.
OOC: Sorry, but I need to sleep.
Natalie walks them into the bedroom and gets them ready to go to bed. Kota follows and sets up a chair in the corner of the room.
Alice and Toko hop in the bed, and Alice wraps her arm around Toko. Whose purring softens.
Natalie looks at Kota worryingly as Kota nods. She sighs and gets into bed while Kota sits and stays awake, twirling his knife.
Alice curls around her cat, before falling asleep.
Natalie thinks to herself, I hope you’ll be there when I wake up. Please, Kota, for everyone’s sake including your own.
Kota thinks, I hate feeling like I’m under house arrest.
Natalie falls asleep.
The lights flash, showing a silhouette of Ace, but he was nowhere to be seen.
