Zepar ran towards the pilgrim, using his dragon arm to push them aside as Zepar stood between Lurch and his attacker.
Thrust glanced at the tower.
âLook, we can head up there and get a better view. Come on!â He transformed and rocketed towards the tower, Vigor and Lightshift following.
The longer SideStep remained within the cybermatter field, the more the substance would restore his body and mind to health.
Far below the Fleetcarrier, alarms sound as the pilgrims prepare for battle.
SideStep tensed as the alarms sounded.
âSomethinâs goinâ on.â He transformed and quickly left the ship.
Lurch and his opponent glare daggers into each other.
Held down by Wildsong, Corona couldnât Nova Primeâs resurrection herself. In an act of desperation, the throws the Emberstone shard out of her hand with the flick of her wrist. It tumbles through the air, before being caughtâŚ
âŚBy Sidewinder. The bronze-armored bot inadvertently activates the artifact, and the gem emits a greenish-blue glow in his hand. He stares at it, unsure of what to do. Corona had never before been wrong in the interpretations of her visions, but many of Salvationâs crew- who were supposedly in Primusâ favor- were convinced that bringing back Nova Prime would be a terrible mistake.
Topside dispatches his opponent with a final blow to the head, and the four-armed neutral falls to the floor, unconscious.
âKid!â the Autobot yells to Sidewinder. âDonât!â
Sidewinder looks to Topside, and then to the incomplete body of Nova Prime in the center of the chamber, which was being bombarded with cybermatter. His gaze shifts between captain and corpse for a critical moment, before the bot makes his decision.
Sidewinder takes a running leap toward the platform, holding the Emberstone shard above his head. Facelift sprints to try and catch him, but the mad doctor is too late. Sidewinder lands on the platform, and shuts his eyes as he plunges the shard into the bodyâs empty sparkchamber. Yellow light ripples over the body as it spasms. The cybermatterâs glow intensifies as a roar fills the chamber.
When the brotherâs reached the tower, they would be able to notice Salvo and Delta about to leave, Driftburn milling about, the Omega Key plugged into a console, and the miniature of the spaceport in the center of the room.
The cybermatter field had been able to make a great deal of progress in restoring SideStep.
Zepar glared broadswords at the body as the shard entered it.
Epsilon was hiding behind a crate.

A blue-white light engulfs the main chamber of the forge, temporarily blinding all within as an unnatural roar fills the room. Those of our heroes at the spaceport would be able to see a beam of light shooting up from the south continent through a blanket of fog that had materialized over the sea, lancing upward into the cloudy night sky, threatening to rival even the moonâs glow. Several pilgrims stop in the midst of their defense preparations to stare at the light. Some knew what it meant, though many others were perplexed, and now even more frightened- could it have been a sign of Bludgeonâs arrival? Those of our heroes in the south continentâs forge, however, would know that the light did not herald the return of the Decepticon lord, but the second coming of an older evil from Cybertronâs past.
Nova Prime had returned, free from thousands of years of torment in the depths of the Pit.
As the light within the forge dies, and the ancient machinery winds down and retracts into the walls, the figure of the unarmored Prime could be seen on the central platform. The cybermatter, assisted perhaps by the Emberstone shard, had completed the sections of his body that Facelift and Spectrum hadnât been able to finish. The white metal shines like new as wisps of steam and varicolored energy curl off its surface. It was a large and powerful shell- a perfect fit for the spark that now resided within its chest.
Slowly, shakily, Nova rises to his feet, standing head and shoulders above Shockwave in height. A piercing blue light fills his optics as he looks down at his hands, and then around the room. He seemed confused, unsure of where he was and what exactly was going on. Given his situation, though, that may have been expected- it wasnât every day you returned from the dead.
GC, after the flash, banked hard, and raced back to the forge, with the feeling that something momentous just happened.
Zepar growled as he glared at Nova, I will never cal you a Prime. he mentally promised.
Nova Prime continues to look around the room, disoriented. Experimentally, he curls the fingers of his right hand.
âWh-⌠what is this?â he mumbles, his voice hoarse.
âWhere am I?â
âOh,â he frowns.
He ducks into the nearest source of cover, wielding both sniper and grenade launcher in either hand.
Pixel skates towards the noise, curious to discover its purpose.
At present, no threat could be detected, though it seemed one was expected to appear soon.
Pixel would see the city and its inhabitants preparing for battle.
Spectrum squeaks and cowers behind a container.
The Splitter brothers land in the top of the tower, transforming to their robot modes.
Hearing Spectrumâs squeak, Nova turns his head in the direction of the sound.
The other NPCs in the forge were beginning to come to their senses. Corona and the pilgrims gaze at Nova in awe, while â â â â â â â â â â â â and Topside were clearly waiting for the right moment to strike at the disgraced Prime.
Zepar wouldnât mind joining the beatdown of Nova.
Nova would see Spectrum partially behind the container, watching Nova carefully.
Lightshift turned to Salvo and Delta.
âWhere you guys going?â He asked. âNeed any assistance? Weâve heard reports of several ships entering the atmosphere, and we need to make sure weâre all ready.â
Nova looks around at everyone in the room, reading the various expressions on their faces- from the amazed to the downright murderous.
âDid I miss something?â he asks.
âSo thatâs what all the hurry is aboutâŚâ Salvo muses. âDelta and I were about to go see whatâs what.â
OOC: Yes, but it would still hurt and it would probably interfere with the Energon circulations in her head, and subsequently the brain module.
IC:
âI donât care about Nova!â
She flew away towards the village.
âThat seems the right thing to do.â
Suddenly, both Redstocker and Delta turn towards the light. Both were confused.
The light entered in Blackbeakâs optics. It, together with the partial restauration of his vital systems, forced him to wake up from Deltaâs claws.
Corona could feel Songâs grasp getting less tight, as the Autobot looked in awe at the revived Prime.
âWildsong,â Zepar growled, âLet her go; our enemy draws near.â He said.
âPerhaps you can vent you frustrations on them rather than on innocent people.â He suggested.
Epsilon peeked out of his hiding spot but soon ducked back in after seeing the fighting was still an imminent danger.
Zepar begins to walk towards Nova, his violet eyes glowing with the rage of a thousand suns.
âFor now, he is only your enemy.â she said, tightening her grip on Coronaâs neck once again.
@Chromeharpoon
âI meant Bludgeon.â Zepar said,âNow, please release her.â
He then opened a private comlink channel between himself and Song, not saying it audibly, he whispered, âIf Nova steps out of line, I will make sure to give you the Emberstone fragment intact.â
The pilgrims were busy preparing for battle. Many of Salvationâs crew assisted them.
Forcep nods.
Corona is defiantly silent; she had fulfilled her objective. What happened to her now didnât matter to her.
âHello,â Nova says to the crowd, his voice regaining clarity and confidence.
âCan you hear me?â he asks. âAre we all speaking the same language?â
âHow about this?â he tries in Ancient.
