Salvation: Part II

Gronius silently stood up as he walked away.

Sorchlock and Delta (along with Redstocker and Alterion, if they had followed the two) would notice a door up ahead, its panels cracked open slightly.

The altar bore a statue of a Knight of Cybertron, crafted from grey metal. The Knight bore sharp armor and components of a draconic beast-mode, such as the wings folding over her chest and back. The Knight knelt upon a dais, holding out a sword in her hands:

Conduits running down the sword’s blades glowed a deep shade of green, and by the Knight’s feet was a console with a round indentation in its middle.

Motherboard wordlessly watches Gronius leave.

Gronius eventually stops right in front of the waterfall.
“Where are we?” he asked without turning to Motherboard. “I felt the ship landing.”

Motherboard walks out of the hideout.

“We have arrived on the planet designated OL-2006-2-C,” she reports. “It is the planet indicated by the Omega Key’s map as the hiding place of the Omega Lock. However, taking what was learned from the prophet Corona on the planet designated OL-2006-0-C, we will likely only find another piece of the Omega Lock here.”

Gronius nodded.
“Teleport me there.”

A map of OL-2-C’s northern hemisphere appears on Motherboard’s visor as a ground bridge portal opens behind Gronius.

The fellow Wrecker noticed up ahead a door, the panels were slightly cracked open. Without even bother he transformed his right arm into his blaster and fire at the door to get it to open up.

King-Quan took a look at the console and tried to tap anything that may activate it. Even so, he glanced at the Knight who had the appearance of something strange, something which he has never seen before, all he could mutter was. “Interesting…”

Zepar walks to the blue glyphs to investigate them.

The shot briefly illuminates the hall in a bright flash as the burst of plasma strikes the door, blowing it further open.

The console remained inert.

Upon a closer inspection, Zepar could see that a new symbol had appeared upon the machinery inside the blue glyphs:

The glyphs that had turned blue were the ones running beside the river, flowing south.

Zepar’s head tilted in curiosity and tried to touch the strange symbol.

Nothing would happen, though this symbol had not been present before the glyphs’ change in color.

Zepar racked his memories for anything pertaining to this symbol.

This symbol was entirely unfamiliar to Zepar- and to almost anyone else alive today.

Scorchlock would continue to blast it open until everyone could get inside as he made his way through the blasted door.

“A shame…” King-Quan said, before looking around him, wondering what is the purpose of this place after all.

Zepar growled in frustration. He tried to calm down before asking, “Thrust, can you bring the Key closer?” (@meepinater)

“Sounds good to me.”[quote=“Chromeharpoon, post:6660, topic:49995”]
“For now, perhaps,” ■■■■■■■■■■■■ says. “I doubt Megatron seriously intends to just give up after the Allspark is restored.”

“Would it be so bad if he did, though?” Breakswitch wonders. “If we all just stopped fighting?”

Sidestep frowned. “Well, let’s see what happens to Bludgeon. Maybe Megs will take a hint and drop it all.”[quote=“BlackBeltGamer98, post:6683, topic:49995”]
Zepar growled in frustration. He tried to calm down before asking, "Thrust, can you bring the Key closer?

Thrust did so.

Scorchlock enters what may have been a laboratory: an oval-shaped chamber with every surface overrun with the withered remains of strange techno-organic foliage.

King-Quan would not find the answers he sought just from looking around.

The lights on the Omega Key glow brighter, as the same new symbol appears below its gold trimming.

“Maybe…” Breakswitch says. ■■■■■■■■■■■■ remains in contemplative silence.

Zepar looks for a keyhole of some sort.

“…maybe the fragment is nearby?” Thrust suggested, waving the Key around to see if it reacted.

“In any case, we have to Stop Bludgeon before we can worry about our favorite Decepticon overlord.”

“Possibly.” He said.
