Some Ideas on Toa backstory/characterization [Worldbuilding][Pitch]

Kopaka- Prince of the ice region, Kopaka is known to be cold and calculating. After an attack of Rahi driven into the region by the fire tribe, the neighboring regions have remained in a civil war. Unknown to most though, is the fact that in that attack Kopaka’s secret love was lost. Since that moment Kopaka has become an individualist and silent guardian to the ice kingdom, only appearing to help when needed and than disappearing before he can be thanked. Now as a Toa, he is the teams structured tactician and second in command to Tahu. (Kopaka and Tahu make a truce until the Raksi are defeated and the island is restored.) But Kopaka has an ulterior motive to bring back his love with the mask of time.
Kind of unrelated but I think Kopaka should have a black sword and a metal eagle that can transform into a shield.

Pohatu- During an ambush by raiders on the Motari villagers, both parties are attacked by a Great Black Horned Scorpio. During the fray, Pohatu’s parents were killed by the Scorpio in front of him. The raiders took Pohatu and raised him to be one of the best raiders of the waist. Pohatu regrets grow and he tells himself he is just a bad person. When Pohatu becomes a Toa, he is conflicted by his past, not understanding why someone so “unworthy” could have been chosen. He feels out of place among the rest of the Toa and is more to himself (much like the g2 webisodes personality).

Lewa- Growing up in the Kaeue village is very different atmosphere than in another tribe. The Kaeue villagers raise all their children together. The young grow up not knowing who are there actual parents. All young are not allowed to go down to the world below, for their protection from wild Rahi, until they reach the age of (insert age). At that time, each young Kaeue villager must prove themselves to the tribe. They take the cord (zip-line) through the blanket of mist to see the forest below for the first time. Each are left to survive on there own in different parts of the forest. Lewa fails these trials but is taken back to the tribe by the lead hunter (name). The Kaeue villagers treat Lewa as an outcast and she eventually leaves the tribe. After she becomes the Toa of Air, she saves the village from a Rahi attack and is immediately accepted again by almost her entire village. (name) the hunter however, is jealous believing he should have been made the Toa and joins the Brotherhood.

I will update this topic with ideas for the other Toa as/if they come.

They’ve already finished coming up with backstories for the Toa. Pohatu’s a star athlete with Ahkmou as a manager, and Lewa is an orphan who gets a mentor named Bingzak.

Not bad though.
