Bailey continued to stand around, waiting to get to scare people
“Hello?” Blake said at the entrance
Kara waves. “Hello, I’m checking everyone in. Name?”
Jeff looks at the entrance, hoping not to accidentally hurt someone who might try to scare him.
IC: David manages a more real, or at least less fake smile, and nods.
“David Carter.”
Kara gives David a thumbs up once she finds him on the list. “Okay, you’re good.”
James walks in.
“Right, heard there was gonna be scary crap. So I thought, why not?”
“Another horror fan? I like you already.”
IC: David nods, and looks at the field/maze again. “Do we just…” He shrugs. “…go in? Isn’t there a tour or something like that?”
“Lauren, time?”
“We have a couple minutes,” Lauren says after checking her watch.
“Okay. I’ll explain in a couple minutes.” She points at James. “Name?”
Bailey pulled out his phone and put in earbuds
“James. And for the record, I’d hardly call myself a horror fan, I just had absolutely nothing else interesting to do tonight.”
“meh, still nice to meet ya. I’m Bailey” he replied, barely hearing him through the music he was listening too
“Nice to meet you too I guess.”
“James,” Kara repeats quietly to herself, scanning the list for his name. “James, you’re all set to go.”
“Oh, you’re so cool,” Lauren mutters from the edge of the group.
“Lauren, don’t antagonize our guests.”
I can’t tell if she meant that towards me or James. Bailey assumed she meant James and continued on minding his business
“Oh, so having nothing to do on a night is cool now? Huh. Must be cool a lot then.”
“can we not”
Lauren just rolls her eyes, going back to ignoring him.
